Nella giornata di oggi, venerdì 3 luglio 2015, è andato in onda uno speciale riguardante Pokkén Tournament. Il gioco sarà disponibile nelle sale giochi giapponesi il 16 luglio 2015.
Nel corso dello streaming sono stati svelati due nuovi Pokémon combattenti: Charizard e Weavile. Altri due Pokémon presenti nel gioco, ma solo come personaggi da supporto, sono Whimsicott e Jirachi. Per ora non si hanno notizie ufficiali riguardo un possibile rilascio di Pokkén Tournament su console, ma circola voce una possibile uscita su Nintendo WiiU.
